On the morning of September 5th, 2019, Mr.Sheng Jiming, deputy director of the Finance Department of the Ministry ofIndustry and Information Technology, and his delegation, accompanied by leadersof Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Shenzhen, visited GEM’sShenzhen headquarters. Professor Xu Kaihua, Chairman of GEM warmly welcomed Mr.Sheng Jiming and his delegation.

Before the discussion meeting, deputy directorSheng Jiming and his delegation visited GEM’s intelligent information monitoringplatform and learned about GEM’s national industrial layout and advancedtechnology and equipment. In the discussion meeting, chairman Xu expressedappreciation to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for thelong-term strong support on GEM’s devolvement and briefed deputy director Shengand his delegation on the GEM green development history, achievements anddevelopment vision of becoming a world leading enterprise.

Deputy director Sheng fully affirmed GEM’s industrialposition in the field of circular economy and its outstanding contribution tothe green development of China, and had in-depth discussion with Chairman Xu onissues of value added tax reform, financing and credit policies and its impacton enterprise.

Dr. Zhang Yuping, the Deputy General Manager,Mr. Mu Menggang, the Chief Financial Officer, accompanied the visit anddiscussion.
