On the afternoon of July 4, 2019, Jingmen,a third-tier city in China, a timely drizzle brings coolness to the hot summer,GEM welcomes guests from far away. At 5 pm, Mr. Ridwan, the DeputyMinister of Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs, Mr. Djauhari, theIndonesian Ambassador to China, and Mrs. Jona, the Minister’s special adviserof International Relations of Indonesia University, came to visit GEM JingmenPark. Prof. Xu Kaihua, the chairman of GEM, Mrs. Wang Min, the executive of GEM,Mr. Jiang Zhenkang, the general manager of GEM and other important managementteam warmly welcomed Mr Luhut and his delegation.

Later, Prof. Xu led the delegation to visitthe National“City Mine”Museum, the National WEEE Recycling Engineering ResearchCenter, the WEEE Disposal Base, the Continuous Oxygen Pressure Leaching Base,the Used Powder Battery Resource Utilization Engineering Center, the TernaryRaw Material Supply System, the Waste Water and Environment InformationCollection and Management Center, the Tungsten Electrolysis Recycling Workshop,the Scare Resources and Complex Low-grade Cobalt and Nickel Raw MaterialsResources Utilization Research Center, the NCM Production Center, and HighPurified Nickel Sulfate Crystal Workshop.

After the visit, Prof. Xu and thedelegation held a discussion in the VIP meeting room.

Prof. Xu and Mr. Jiang went to the SanxiaAirport to see the delegation off.
