On December 15, the Reporting Sessions of2018 Course-completing and Course-opening Post-Doctors of GEM Co., Ltd wereheld at the Shenzhen headquarters of GEM Co., Ltd. In the sessions, theevaluation panel composed of Prof. Li Qibing from Guizhou University, Prof. Hu Zhiquan fromHuazhong University of Science and Technology, Prof. Yuan Liangjie and Prof.Cao Yuliang from Wuhan University and Prof. Xu Kaihua, the Board Chairman ofGEM Co., Ltd, as the leader, conducted a review of the course-completing scientific researchreports of Ye Jian and Sheng Guanghong, the two post-doctors and thecourse-opening scientific research reports of Lei Jie, Xie Lan, Du Ke and XuPengyun, the four post-doctors, and Zhou Kuanshan, Director of Post-doctorManagement Office of Shenzhen Human Resources and Social Security Bureauattended the sessions.

Ye Jian and Sheng Guanghong, the twopost-doctors reported their post-doctoral scientific research work to theevaluation panel with the topics of Recycling Use of Positive-pole Materials ofScrapped Lithium Ion Battery and Research on Recycling Use of Magnesium Resources in Metallurgical Slag respectively. The evaluation panel put forwardits comments and its modification suggestions on their course-completingreports, and agreed on unanimously their completing their topic study, and theywere appraised as excellent level. Lei Jie, Xie Lan, Du Ke and Xu Pengyun, thefour post-doctors, reported their course-opening reports to the panel withtopics of the Evaluation on Toxicity of Cobalt and Nickle Leaching Residue andResearch on Stabilization Technology, the Research on Preparation of New Typesof Wood-plastic Foam Composites and Their Basic Applications, Highly EfficientSeparation and Recycling of Tungsten, Cobalt and Nickle in Alkali LeechingTungsten Slag and Technical Research on Washing and Chrome-removal of aLaterite-Nickel Mine in Indonesia and its Engineering Practice. The evaluationpanel put forward its comments and its modification suggestions on theircourse-opening reports, and agreed on unanimously their starting their topicstudy.

The six post-doctors are jointly cultivatedby mobile postdoctoral research stations of Wuhan University, HuazhongUniversity of Science and Technology, Central South University, ZhejiangUniversity and postdoctoral research station of GEM Co., Ltd.

As the tutor of the six post-doctors at themobile stations, Mr. Xu Kaihua expressed his thanks to the experts\' attendingthe reporting sessions, and he also showed his gratitude to Shenzhen MunicipalGovernment for the high attention it paid to and its great support for thepostdoctoral work. He ensured that GEM would enhance its enrollment ofpost-doctors for research work at the station continuously subsequently,cultivate more talents of high caliber of circular economy industry of Chinaand undertake GEM\'s mission for green development. Mr. Xu emphasized that thedoctors in GEM should substantiate their study in their practical jobs, applythe theories and knowledge they grasp to production practice so as to betterserve production and make contributions in improving production efficiency.

Mr. Zhou Kuanshan affirmed the workconducted by GEM postdoctoral research station. In his opinion, GEM\'spostdoctoral topics were of highly strategic and guiding significance. Heencouraged GEM to cultivate post-doctors jointly with more famous universitiesand scientific and research institutions to push forward cooperation inproduction, teaching and research, promote transformation of scientificresearch results and make greater contributions to postdoctoral work ofShenzhen.
