November 17, 2018, Director Yang Jie of the Policies & Regulations Department of National Development and Reform Commission visited GEM (Jingmen) Circulation Industrial Park for investigation and survey, accompanied by members of the Party leadership group of the People’s government of Jingmen including leader Tang Wanglin. Zheng Hongwei, Dean of the Waste Recycle and New Material Research Institute of Jingmei Park, warmly received them, and accompanied them on a visit to GEM (Jingmen) Urban Mine Museum.

During the visit, Dean Zheng Hongwei introduced the industry development, growth process, and talent cultivation of GEM to Yang Jie, etc. in details, and GEM’s efforts and achievements during the upgrading and transformation process in recent years were highly appreciated and recognized by Yang Jie. Director Yang Jie highly commended the implementation of the “leading talent—outstanding talent—skilled talent” three-level talent plan implemented by GEM, which attaches great importance to the cultivation of talent, and leads the development of GEM with talent and innovation.

After the visit, Yang Jie and other leaders expressed unanimously: ecological environment is the foundation; as a leading enterprise of China’s circular economy industry and the corporate champion of Jingmen’s renewable resource utilization and environmental protection industry, Jingmen GEM represents the image of Jingmen city and its industry, and has immense prospects of development.
